Position Summary – Responsible for assisting Controller and Administrative Team with accounting and financial functions. The Staff Accountant must be reliable, detail-attentive, and a conscientious team player with a positive work ethic.

Qualifications for Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in accounting with GAAP accounting standards required.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
  • Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize in a time sensitive manner with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player mindset required.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Sales Tax reporting.
  • Accounts payable processing.
  • Assis Controller with month end financials – Reconcile bank accounts, depreciation schedules, etc.
  • Credit card reconciliations.
  • Company benefit administration.
  • Assist with HR functions.
  • Assist in answering phone.
  • Other accounting and administrative tasks as requested.
  • Bonus Skills: HR experience/interest is highly preferred.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: M-F, 8AM – 5PM

Additional Compensation: Bonus opportunities
